There are plenty of trees now heavy with the signs it is spring. I am not sure of the tree, could be hawthorn but maybe someone else could verify? It is on the main path from Chorlton IvyGreen Car Park which leads to the River Mersey. Good point about making some of my images available over the internet. Where in Manchester did you find this? Maybe I'm blind for this but I haven't seen any trees blossoming so promisingly. The photograph would make a fantastic desktop wallpaper.
